Bite Autumn 2012

With celebrities such as Jameela Jamil and Jodie Harsh sat front row at the PPQ catwalk, we knew that we were inevitably going to be in for a treat, and yes our prediction was right. This season at PPQ we saw some of the most psychedelic creations of FashionWeek. It was like we had been transported back to the 1960s with rose paisley printing upon the garments.  Maxi dresses and kaftans exuded the summer vibe while beautiful bold stripes creep their way into the collection. Parisian disco chic was the inspiration for Mark Fast ’ s show this season as he gave a nod to nineties hip-hop for his spring/summer 2013 show. It was a figure hugging collection with lots of tassels, cut out tops and a lot of colour. Beautiful lilacs diffused into rich midnight blues while dresses were kept sexy, tight fitting and of course occasionally see through. French shoemaker Christian Louboutin designed the shoes for this collection, while attitude and glitz are what the fast girls needed this season; oh and a blaring soundtrack.

Mark Fast
