Bite Autumn 2012

bite catwalk

Always a favourite show of ours at The Bite Magazine, and this season, there were no exceptions. Fyodor Golan goes from strength to strength to bring you a completely thought provoking and eye-catching collection. Inspiration came in the form of a book this season - The Blue Tattoo, therefore blue was naturally the colour of choice ranging from exotic cobalt to a deep almost purple shade. Peplums were prominent and the millinery, designed by Zara Gorman, was shapely and structured. As the show progressed, the blue shades faded into deep oranges, reminding us of the autumnal season that is fast approaching. Floor length gowns with ruffles closed this collection leaving us longing for the clothes that we had just seen.An insightful collection from The Fashion Fringe winners, and while this collection may not be 100% wearable it was definitely 100% desirable. Phoebe English this season sure showed us that black is the colour for spring/summer 2013.The collection of dresses that the designer opened with captured imaginations and made the mix up of fabrics something for us to all fall in love with. The collection was demure, yet sexy and it was not until those beautiful pink dresses came at the end that the real beauty of the collection was revealed. The acute pleats in the fi nal look giving wafts of movement to the model’s skirt looked beautiful, delicate and of course gave that laid back look of sheer cool that we love to see each season at English’s shows.
