Madagascar 3: Europe’s MostWanted S till battling to find their way back home to the New York Central Park Zoo, the animal escapee quartet have somehow become Europe’s Most Wanted in this third instalment of the Madagascar franchise. Alex, Marty, Melman and Gloria (voiced by returning stars Ben Stiller, Chris Rock, David Schwimmer and Jada Pinkett Smith) are joined by the penguins and lemurs (including Sacha Baron Cohen’s Julien) in an escapade that sees this band of misfits en route to Monte Carlo.With the ominous presence o f Animal Control not far behind, including Captain Chantel DuBois (Frances McDormand) who wants to add the hapless Alex to her collection of wildlife, will the quartet and their companions ever make it back to the Big Apple, or end up as the latest additions to the Captain’s menagerie? With this third instalment, it is good to see that neither the main cast nor the sense of humour have
changed since the original adventure. Whether there is to be a fourth escapade remains to be seen, but here’s hoping that Sacha Baron Cohen’s ever present Lemur king Julien does not get lost along the way. Release Date: 19 th October 2012 www.madagascarmovie.com
